Living with a Wreath Lock.
Maria's quick tips are the films above. Below: fit, care, and the questions people ask. If yours isn't here, write to us.
Fit
The Wreath Lock is a single strip of stainless steel folded over the top of the door. Closed, the strap sits under the jamb. Nothing to lift, nothing to unhook. It comes off from the inside, and only there.
12 in
For doors under 80 in.
16 in
For doors with a horizontal window, or if you prefer a longer hook.
25.5 in
For doors over 80 in.
A wreath usually hangs best within eye level. If a traditional wreath hook works on your door, the Wreath Lock should too. Measure the door's height and thickness to be sure: the door must be under 2 in thick for the Wreath Lock to fit.
Not sure which length? In the studio, add a photo of your door and it shows where each length puts the wreath. Or send the photo through the contact page and we'll tell you.
Which wreaths
Fits standard wire-framed wreaths up to 5 mm. Grapevine wreaths and other door decor with nothing for a hook to hold use the adaptor, a small steel loop that comes with every Wreath Lock.
Maria's quick tips
Three films at the top of this page: the Wreath Lock on a wire-framed wreath, the adaptor with a grapevine wreath, and the Swag Stick release. Each is also on The Wreath Meshine's YouTube channel.
Care
Plain steel. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry. Road grime and salt come off with warm water and a little dish soap.
Gloss and textured colors. Warm water, mild soap, a soft cloth. Nothing abrasive, no solvents. The color is powder-coated over the steel, so there is no plating to chip.
Questions
Will it fit my door?
Please measure to be sure the door is under 2 in thick, and check its height from the top edge to the bottom edge, not the frame. If you have a storm door or an unusually shaped door and a traditional J-hook wreath hanger works on it, the Wreath Lock should too. Please confirm before placing your order, as all sales are final. Unsure? Send a photo through the contact page and we'll tell you.
Which length should I choose?
Twelve inches for doors under 80 in. Sixteen for doors with a horizontal window, or if you prefer a longer hook. Twenty-five and a half for doors over 80 in. The studio shows where each length puts the wreath on a photo of your own door.
Do I need any tools?
None. There are no tools needed for the Wreath Lock or its accessories. Installation is simple: flip, pass and hang, and your wire-framed wreath is secure on your door. See the films at the top of this page for the Wreath Lock with the Swag Stick and the adaptor.
How does the Wreath Lock system deter theft?
Once the stainless-steel Wreath Lock is placed on a door, the wreath or other decor cannot be removed properly unless the door is unlocked and opened. Once this occurs, the Wreath Lock and the decor can be safely removed. The innovative design of the Wreath Lock is what deters theft.
Will it rust?
The Wreath Lock and its accessories are stainless steel, bare or powder-coated. The Wreath Lock is weather and rust resistant. The powder coating is baked onto the metal at over 400 degrees and should not chip or peel, and the plain steel should not rust with proper care.
When do purchases ship?
Items ship within 24 business hours of your order, normally by USPS. Your tracking number appears on your order page when it leaves.
Are returns accepted?
All sales are final on Wreath Lock products. Please confirm your measurements and color choice before you buy. Questions before you order are welcome through the contact page.
Where is it made?
All Wreath Lock products are manufactured in Texas.
Is it patented?
Patent pending.
Do you ship internationally?
Please write to us to ask about international shipping. Customers are responsible for any duties and tariffs on their purchase. We are not responsible for orders returned for non-payment of those charges; the item would need to be purchased again. All sales are final.
